My third visit today for a cut & colour, the staff are all warm and welcoming and the salon clean and modern. Lyanne the Style Director always talks about how I'm coping with the cut, colour and is there anything that needs changing. I love how she sets my expectations and makes recommendations regarding colours that would be complementary to my skin tone and a cut to compliment my face shape. This was my first visit to this salon, all I will say, truly amazing experience from the minute I walked in to leaving with a fantastic hair cut. The team were fantastic and I was made to feel so welcome. Neal was my artistic director who worked wonders on my Bob hairstyle . Well, I've had my hair restyled today with Neal, it's my first visit to this salon and it won't be the last. I showed Neal a couple of pics to show what I was aiming for, and I knew that I needed a little more growth at the sides, but he has exceeded my expectations today, as he's almost achieved the look by now. Things will only get better as he understood just where I was coming from with my thoughts/ideas. He gave me many compliments and I returned them which was a lovely experience, enjoyed my afternoon here and wanted to stay.lol!
I've already booked my next visit and glad I made the switch from a salon in town that I had visited 3 times before and was always unhappy and always had to go back to tweak it.A change is as good as a rest as they say and i'm so happy I chose Adele Jones.

So over the moon with my hair after visiting Adele's!!! Debbie truly is a miracle worker!! To make someone feel amazing when they walk out of the hairdressers is priceless. Iv been going to another salon in Doncaster for a few years and was starting to believe that my hair just wouldn't take the style/colour I wanted. One visit to Debbie and it looked fabulous!! At my appointment yesterday she went way beyond anything I could expect. Debbie I'm your number one fan. So excited for my wedding hair now. All of the other staff are brilliant too. They make me smile how naturally friendly and chatty they are without being too over familiar or losing the professional edge. Can't wait to do my 2hour round trip for my next appointment! Came here for the first time today and I was very apprehensive about it but I honestly could not recommend the salon anymore. All the staff were lovely and welcoming and they wanted to go above and beyond. I have my hair done here every 6 weeks. It's an amazing experience and they always go above and beyond to make you feel special. It's a propped pamper experience.

Booked online then had a call today the 45 min appointment they gave me was no good because as a new client they like to have a consultation first. Think it's a load of rubbish tbh. What you actually mean is it's been double booked or something. It's to trim my hair and thin it ???? Not having a total restyle and colour?!?!
First time at this salon and I've had a complete new restyle I'm totally in love with my hair now and I've had so many great comments from my family and friends. Taken me a couple of days as I've been away on a hen do with my fab new hair!!! Had my hair done here on Wednesday with Glenn, first visit ever and definitely won't be the last! He has got my hair to the best condition and colour it has ever been! I can't fault a single thing and the staff that saw to me for cups of tea and to take my jacket etc were all so lovely! I wish I had tried the salon sooner! Absolutely love Glenn and the team! X
Absolutely horrendous experience. Left waiting over 20 minutes without any explanation. Was on the verge of walking out and really wish I had. The "stylist" made a complete mess of my hair. The owner was sympathetic and tried to rectify it but without success.
Just been to Adele Jones in Barnsley. I suffer from severe anxiety and depression and struggle to go in hairdressers. I was made to feel very special. I also wear a cochlear implant and can't hear anything at all when I don't wear it. Today I was shown great empathy and understanding. I can't thank the stylist enough for making me feel good today. Lyanne was my stylist, after a very thorough consultation she coloured my hair & the end result was exactly as I wanted it to look. The massage chair was an added bonus & so was the fab head massage! Thanks also to David for being so friendly & for the great coffee.
Best hairdressers I've been to and been using them for 4 years now. The salon is really modern and staff are very nice and listen to what you want. My hairdresser is Neal and he always does a fantastic job and I wouldn't go to anyone else now!

Absolutely love my hair extensions with Kyle they look amazing, the colour match is spot on, nodody can tell the difference between them or my real hair, my hair is super fine as well and i had herd extensions can be heavy and take abit to get use to when sleeping, but with these i couldn't feel them at all when i went to sleep and with no heaviness to them also i have experience no shedding at all with them, i am so happy with them and Kyle who looked after me as a first time client to the salon and new to extensions Thank you so much xxx

I can honestly say that I've never left a salon as happy as I have today after my appointment with Angela. I didn't have anything drastic done, I asked Angela to try and correct a dodgy cut I had somewhere else a few days ago and she did a fantastic job. It was a lovely experience - sat in the massage chair with my feet up, all relaxed :-). Angela explained all about all the products she was using, including the GHD hairdryer (which I'd talked my husband into buying me within 20 minutes of being home ;-) Can't wait to go back and have Angela work her magic on a lovely colour for me next time. It might be a little more expensive than what I've been used to paying elsewhere but I've certainly learned the hard way that you really do get what you pay for. Thank you xx

I also wanted to mention the whole team seem to share Adele’s ‘above and beyond’ approach to customer service – this was evident after my last appointment. Charlie contacted me to let me know I had left the paperwork I had been reviewing during my appointment, as I was unable to pop in and collect it, it was posted to my home address with next day delivery! This was very much appreciated, many thanks.
I'd used a home stripper on my red hair. It was a mess. The staff were so welcoming and friendly I felt at ease the minute I walked in the door. Staff are very attentive and give an outstanding service. My hair now looks amazing! I will definitely e a returning customer :)

I recently visited and had an overhaul of my colour, Angela went through the options and explained everything to me. I was a little apprehensive going from such a dark shade but I needn't have worried. I was amazed at the transformation and plus the cut was great and complemented the colours. Angela also explained aftercare to me. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and I was well looked after.
I have had nothing but compliments about my hair since and would definitely recommend.

My first Time at adel Jones on Thursday and I have book back in for my next appointment, I tried the silverwhites collection and am Amazed with the results, they stylists are fantastic and and very friendly, and the massage chairs just too off the experience highly recommend!
I've just had thee best experience ever at adeles. I've not had my hair cut and coloured for a while and can only say that going there was well worth the wait. Neal did the cut and color and I'm so so impressed with it. Neal helped me to gain confidence in myself again and brought out the best style to compliment my features. Not only did he do an amazing job on my hair but Neal and the rest of the staff were so friendly and down so earth it made feel like I had known them for years and we're just friends catching up. Had an appointment today. Walked in with bright blue damaged hair and left with silky silver hair with a pale blue ombre type colour. Cannot recommend angela enough. She knew exactly what I had in mind and it came out so much better than I expected, really didn't expect to see such amazing results. Used fibreplex throughout and it's made my hair softer than its ever been, bought some to take home. Such a lovely atmosphere and service. I usually hate having my hair done but I'll never go anywhere else now.
Angela is absolutely amazing; she never over promises and I trust her judgement wholeheartedly. It has taken me years to find the right hairdresser and now I wouldn't want to use anyone else. Everyone is lovely, from Adele Murphy to the apprentices and everyone works very hard. They have great products in the salon and offer food advise without hard selling.
I have two visits to Adele Jones as the first time I left unhappy and upset, I then rang up and was booked in again as fast as possible where the salon opened early for me. After talking to Adele and having my hair cut again I felt extremely happy with the condition and style of my hair. Thank you

After several bad experiences I had become quite hairdresser-phobic until today. The salon is welcoming and the staff are polite, friendly and very professional. I was shown to a seat and introduced to my stylist who I am very pleased to say actually listened to me. I explained what I wanted and she made suggestions which I was more than happy with. Every step was explained and the end result was better than I could of hoped for. Thank you Kate and the team for restoring my faith hairdressers, and I look forward to seeing you soon x

After leaving my review I was contacted by the salon and after an apology and a return visit to the salon I feel as a company they have really tried to make up for my experience, They are a salon with traditional values and they really went the extra mile to show me that 1 bad experience is not the norm nor is it acceptable and i have to say the fact they took the time and effort to change my mind shows how much dedication they have to their customers and in making this salon not only a very trendy and modern place to visit but also one that's friendly, value for money and also a nice place to visit, I will be returning again and a Huge thank you to everyone for GOING THE EXTRA MILE ! special thanks to Adele, James and Glen x
I like the salon but i find it depends on the stylist as to what you get, Ive been twice now the first time was excellent and the young girl was amazing attention to detail and the shampoo & head massage was amazing, the second time the staff member was RUBBISH at shampooing was a quick done no massage, she was quite rude to the junior colleges in my eyes regarding lunch arrangements and she left me for large periods of time, I had a colour so at times expected to be alone but she wasn't checking on me and also charged me £8 more at the end of it all without telling me she was applying a toner that id be charged for outside the agreed cost. unlikely to return again ..
